Using Kaciin

Kaciin is a personal expense and debt tracker, available at https://kaciin.com. By creating an account or using Kaciin, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the app. You must be at least 13 years old.

Your account

Keep your password safe. You are responsible for what happens under your account. Tell us at [email protected] if you think someone else has accessed it. Give us accurate sign-up details.

Signing in with Google

If you sign in with Google, Google's own terms and privacy policy also apply to your Google account. We only receive the basic details described in our Privacy Policy, and you can remove Kaciin's access from your Google account settings at any time.

Guest mode

You may use Kaciin as a guest without an account. Guest data is kept only on your device, is not backed up by us, and we cannot recover it. It can be lost if you clear your browser data, uninstall the app, change or lose your device, or, on some phones such as iPhones, if the browser removes stored website data after a period of not using the app. Export your data from time to time, and create an account if you want it saved in the cloud.

Your data

The information you enter belongs to you. You allow us to store and process it so the app can work for you, as described in our Privacy Policy.

Fair use

Do not try to break, overload or gain unauthorised access to Kaciin or other people's accounts. Do not use the app for anything unlawful, and do not send abusive or spam messages through feedback. We may suspend accounts that do.

Not financial advice

Kaciin is a tracking tool. Its numbers, summaries and tips are for your convenience and are not financial, tax or legal advice. Check important figures yourself, and rely on your own bank records for official amounts.

Beta

Kaciin is currently in beta. This means it is still being built and tested. Features may change, you may run into bugs, and data could be lost, so please export your data from time to time as your own copy. Your feedback helps us improve it.

Pricing

There is no paid plan right now. All features are free while Kaciin is in beta. If we introduce paid plans such as Kaciin Plus later, we will tell you first and show prices, billing terms and refund rules clearly before you pay. You will never be charged without your agreement.

Third-party services

Kaciin relies on other companies to work, such as Supabase (database and sign-in), Cloudflare (website hosting) and Google (Sign in with Google). We are not responsible for outages or changes caused by these services, but we choose them carefully and will tell you about changes that affect you.

Availability

We work to keep Kaciin running, but we cannot promise it will always be available or error-free. We recommend you export your data from time to time as your own copy.

Our responsibility

Kaciin is provided "as is". To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not responsible for losses that result from using the app or from it being unavailable. Nothing here limits rights that the law says cannot be limited.

Ending your account

You can stop using Kaciin at any time. To delete your account, use Profile, then Delete account. We process deletion requests within 3 to 7 working days, after which your account and data are permanently deleted and cannot be recovered. You can also email [email protected]. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms.

Changes and law

We may update these terms and will tell you about important changes. Using the app after a change means you accept it. These terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia.
